Gisozi I is only a few streets away from Kagugu, the school we've been sharing transformative stories from all week. Gisozi I is almost 100% funded, but it still needs a few more school partners! Will you join with us as we seek to spread the transformation at Kagugu to Gisozi I and beyond? ift.tt/2jdKbc6
September is nearly over, so we have a question for the end of this back-to-school season...Will you join our School Partner family? School Partners are Wellspring’s wonderful monthly donors, whose regular gifts help to ensure the sustainability of our work. As a School Partner, you’ll get to walk alongside a specific school, see the challenges and successes in the classrooms we work in, and experience the impact of your regular gifts in a real, tangible manner through regular updates. Learn more about how regular giving provides the backbone for transformation in Rwanda at the link in our bio. #Education #BackToSchool #September #Rwanda #DoGood #WellspringWednesday

We wanted to write a quick message of #thanks to you for supporting our year-end campaign. With the #generosity of donors such as yourself, Wellspring raised $200,000. We sent you a big ask—help us fulfil a $100,000 matching grant to spark transformation in #education across #Rwanda—and you came through! We are overjoyed at this response and know that these funds will go a long way in transforming heartache into hope for children in #Rubavu and across Rwanda.. Thank you once again for providing #qualityeducation to children in Rwanda. You are empowering the next generation of changemakers, community shapers, and world leaders. We couldn’t be more grateful!
We had a "back to the books" party, celebrating the WellSpring tribe getitng back in the groove. Look out world!

Carl introduced me to this boat, as he said every photographer in Kirkcudbright has taken its pic, I might as well do likewise! I can see why, it is a very photogenic wreck.
Every girl deserves an education that matches her dreams and God-given potential. Every girl deserves the same opportunities as boys. Every girl deserves to be afforded dignity and worth. Right now, obstacles are standing in the way of girls in Rubavu, but we know these barriers can be removed through our training. It's time to see girls thrive through quality education.⠀ ⠀ Learn more about how you can partner with Wellspring to empower girls in Rubavu at the link in our profile!⠀ ⠀ #education #heartachetohope #girlseducation
International Development Week is here! IDW focuses on celebrating Canadian contributions to poverty reduction and international human assistance, and encouraging Canadians to learn more about and contribute to international development. The theme this year is "Together for Gender Equality," and that is definitely a theme we can stand behind! The quality education we are working to develop in Rwanda is an education that engages, values, and invests equally in girls and boys. This is essential to ensuring sustainable change. #idw2019
