Sotwell House is one of two surviving manor houses in the village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, South Oxfordshire, and dates from the 17th and 18th century. The grounds of the handsome house are completely surrounded by a small water-filled moat whose resident ducks and moorhens have delighted generations of local children (and adults!).

My fourth attempt over a long period, and still a struggle to get something respectable. It is such a lovely scene to the eye, yet bedevilled by wires, cables, telegraph poles, cars, refuse bins, TV aerials, etc. Still not great, but this one is probably as good as it is ever going to get.

Jasper likes ball anytime, but there seems to be a particular wellspring of joy when we pull out a ball during a hike. Just look at the crazy in his eyes. A last second decision to go to Lost Dutchman State Park yesterday to mark the last day of 15 days off for the holidays.

My all time favorite characters in Rage are most definitely the Wellsprings Guards. Something about their multiple layers of ragged shirts, interesting helmets and odd gasmasks have always made me want to make one in minifig form! So here is the result of a 2 day Figure. I don't really like the legs, but i think the area where i did well was probably the arms.
Secondly, is anyone going to BBTB that can get me some of the GI Brick helmets, heads and baseball bat w/ spikes? I only need one of each head, 1 bat and one of a few helmets. Please respond if you'd be willing to help me out and maybe we can work out a deal.
You may have noticed that lately we've been shooting a ton of Polaroids/instant film and really loving it, (something about instant satisfaction, I guess?) but we're always coming back to medium format film. There really is a lot to be said for getting photos back from the lab and really loving a bunch of them we'd forgotten about. Especially when it comes to our favourite slide film - Fuji Velvia (which this was shot on!). Hopefully there'll be a lot of that in the next few months!

Decided to pick up RAGE again. I played the game a few times, but it never really clicked with me, so I never really got that far. I decided to give it another try. I am really trying to get ReShade working on this game, but it doesn't seem to work, I know it should work since I checked the compatibility list for ReShade. If there is anybody that can help, it would be much appreciated. Besides that, on a graphical standpoint, this game looks pretty good. The textures are not that great, but for lighting and art design, it is really friggin' good.
