Happy Bokeh Wednesday (or HBW as you cool kids put it).
I was working on creating Bokeh shapes by covering the lens with paper that only had a small cut out. In this case the cutout was the shape that you see on the buddha.
to occupy my time during the bible story, i took photos of the screen. i love series of stills from moving images. these are one second exposures while we sat in the theater.

Thank you for all the well wishes everyone. My Wednesday girl is on my big-ass blanket project. Lots of fun to stitch her, thanks to bed, Tylenol Cold and Hawaii 5-0 reruns. I'm not sure when these girls came out, but I'm pretty sure those are some 80's bangs going on there.

Happy Wednesday! I think most of my appointments are over for a couple of weeks!! I am doing okay. Had some issues but tests show I will be fine :). I have missed everyone and hope I haven't been forgotten. Will be doing a few things today but will be around to visit. Thank you to all of you that visited and commented. I took this picture a couple of months ago and it personifies how I am feeling...brighter and sunnier! :) Hugs!!

Have a quick stroll with the camera around the neighbourhood to see how the Upper West Side starts the day. It mainly involves eating and walking dogs. Then wander alongside Central Park and head for the Rockerfeller Centre to experience the Top of The Rock, the viewing platform at the very top of the 70 floors of number 30 Rockerfeller Plaza. The view from the top is beyond description, seen so many times and so instantly recognisable yet unlike anything I've ever witnessed before. Take in the entire city whilst standing in one spot.
When we've finally decide to descend we make our way to Brooklyn and to Tom's Restaurant, another New York institution made famous by the crappy Susanne Vega song. Here I have the greatest burger I've ever had, topped typically with bacon and cheese. We make our way up to Williamsburg, where everyone looks like they're in The Strokes and there's more graffiti from the same guys whose work is around the corner from my office back home.
It's getting late and we decide to head home, over the Williamsburg bridge and back to the Emerald Inn for a couple of beers.
