Jeremy Bernard
On Wednesday, Jan. 24th, 2018, the LBJ Presidential Library presented “An Evening With Lea Berman and Jeremy Bernard.” Both are former White House Social Secretaries. They discussed their book, Treating People Well: The Extraordinary Power of Civility at Work and in Life. The conversation was moderated by Ambassador Capricia Marshall, the former Chief of Protocol of the United States under President Barack Obama (2009-2013), a position that carries the rank of Ambassador. Marshall previously served as White House Social Secretary for President Bill Clinton (1997-2001).
Lea Berman was social secretary for President George W. Bush and first lady Laura Bush, and Jeremy Bernard was social secretary for President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama. Their book is an entertaining and uniquely practical guide to personal and professional success. Their daily experiences at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue taught them valuable lessons about how to work productively with people from different walks of life and points of view.

On Wednesdays they turn the entire City Hall area into a huge farmers market with all kinds of goodies. The fresh vegetables are so hard to resist; we just sample them all.

Spook veteran Wednesday 13 plays his only UK date this year - A unique "filmed for DVD" Halloween Show at Camden's KoKo.
In particular, these photos were taken for fuckyeswednesday13.tumblr.com/ (Which is a must-visit for any W13 fan :D).
Also, if you enjoy these photos enough to share them elsewhere, it would be really awesome if you could take a couple of seconds to include a link back to my flickr as the source! :D

BREAST CANCER aWEARness STYLING CHALLENGE DAY 4
WHERE:
Hospital and errands
ABOUT:
continuing my Breast Cancer A-wear-ness challenge, this is day 4 of the challenge. I've said before in my previous post that I only plan to wear pink for maybe a week because I don't think I have that many pink items in my wardrobe, but as I was browsing my wardrobe looking for something pink I found that I actually have a few more pink items than I thought I had ;p so I think I could prolong my challenge for a few more days ^__^
The pink item I wore on day 4 is the pink trapeze tunic that my SIL gave me as a birthday present. I experiment by wearing it asymmetrically but don't really like the result ;p I really want to wear it unconventionally but didn't really have any idea on how to do it (lol) so if you got any suggestions on how to wear this trapeze tunic a different way please tell me in the comment :)
The gold stacked bracelet is new! I collected Indian style stacked bracelets and so far I only have like 4 of them. And now I have the gold ones, yeay! I plan to collect them in many colors ^o^
