One of few trains which bring Santragachi locomotives to Mumbai, showcasing super aggressive show from off-link, Howrah (HWH) WAP-4 # 22862 who is not in mood to slow down with 12812 Hatia - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Superfast Express. Thanks to loco pilots of this red beast for honking to us and even showing green flag proceeds signal. Train was running late by 1 hour and was rushing in hurry through Khadavli for its next halt at Kalyan Junction.
Hatia is located in Ranchi district of Jharkhand state, India. However, this train uses locomotives from Santragachi shed which is almost 400 Kms away in West Bengal, same like Mumbai and Vadodara. Down 12811 Hatia Superfast Express operates on Mon and Sun from LTT at 00:15 AM and reaches HTE at 03:45 next day with average running speed of 62.15 Kmph. In return, 12812 operate on Fri and Sat from HTE at 09:40 AM and reaches LTT at 13:35 next day with average running speed of 61.22 Kmph. This train has rake sharing with 12817-12818-12873-12874 Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express and 12835-12836 Hatia - Yesvantpur Superfast Express.
