The inside of a cabanes (or cahuttes) or even a grangette. Lightning can be very dangerous for four legged animals and building a hut that can hold a small drove of sheep or trip of goats would be an assurance policy that was made of stone. A space for keeping ill or pregnant animals away from the worst of the sun and having a roof for a chat with friend when winter was determined to be heard. With this design, either the roof goes down to the foundations or the foundations rise up to the apex.

A short trip to NYC. What a great city! Its completely in love with itself but that ok. A concreate jungle with some strange wildlife of the human variety.
The site of Milecastle 76, just to the east of Drumburgh. The milecastle lies in the field beyond the hedgerow in the middle distance, on the eastern side of the drumlinoid upon which Drumburgh fort is built and immediately west of Burgh Marsh. Wall ditch east of Hill Head Farm. This view shows a standard sprung gate just east of St Oswald's, near Heavenfield. The path can be seen along the berm between the curtain wall (which is under the road, to the right) and the ditch (which at this point is full of gorse bushes). Looking E

These walls are on the northwest corner of Fox Street at Laurel Canyon Boulevard in the City of San Fernando, California. Whenever there were changes I tried to get photos. From 2000 to 2004 I took photos of outstanding graffiti at several locations in my San Fernando Valley neighborhood in Los Angeles. The area includes the communities of San Fernando, Arleta, Pacoima and Panorama City.
