I don,t know quite what type it is but this lovely bee was warming up on a wall and was quite obliging. This is a Carder bee.

Graffiti covering the staircase wall in the Ace Hotel.

The East dam wall. Concrete and earth embankment. It's quite high. I have personal experience of this since I was fishing near the spillways with a friend and he managed to stall the outboard motor. I could see the ground on the other side before he got the engine going!

True to its word КРАСНАЯ СТЕНА (Krasnaya Stena) is a Red Wall, but this is not the famous one along the Red Square.

 

The words сувениры и подарки - suvyenir y podarki - are the Russian equivalent of Souvenirs & Gifts.

An old sign faded away on a wall in Savannah. It almost looks like there were 2 or 3 signs that just got painted over each other here.

With them being an unusual species locally, Wall Browns are usually a nice surprise on my visit to other parts of the UK. This is one of a few I found around Cartmell Fell near Lake Windermere earlier this month, blending in with their surroundings incredibly well when with their wings closed.

L’église du chef-lieu se situe sur la place de l’ancienne chapelle du prieuré de Pralognan fondé par les religieux de l’ordre de Saint Augustin vers le 12° siècle. Cette congrégation est à l’origine du village. Même si l’édifice a été modifié et agrandi, il subsiste actuellement une partie de la nef d’origine et la crypte sous-jacente. En mai 2008, suite à des malfaçons lors des travaux de restauration, les murs de l’église Saint-Jean-Baptiste se fissurent et le clocher penche. En novembre 2008, pour garantir la sécurité des passants, le clocher est démonté.
