Images from Google Maps street view and Google Places were the only references for this model/movie set of Wall Street. I've been to NYC plenty of times, but I can't remember ever visiting Wall Street itself. That's how awesome Google's technology is. :) The model takes up an entire standard sized Ping Pong Table, and uses an estimated tens-of-thousands of Lego bricks. It's currently a work in progress, but this set will serve as the backdrop of multiple future animations from Kooberz Studios! However, I'm not sure which animation will come first. :) What would you like to see?
This was taken in Glen Strathfarrar Highlands. I came across this derelict Bothy which had this lovely wonky tree going round the back, I think it looks kind of eerie,hope you like it.
Centurial building inscription (RIB 3306) on the north face of the curtain wall, 88 blocks east of the western end of the stretch containing Turret 29a (Black Carts). Each length built by a century will have needed four of these (one at either end on both faces).
Nearly identical to RIB 1473 (originally unprovenanced, but now in Chesters museum), it records work by the century of Nas. Ba(ssus) and was found when this length of curtain wall was consolidated in 1972.
As I’ve said before, the trains where I work are the arteries of Seattle and the arteriosclerosis of SoDo. So much portage, so much trade… so much frustration as you’re left wondering exactly how long this train is and whether it’s going to move any time in the near future. Seriously, there are days where we can hear the bells of the railroad crossing going for about an hour at a stretch as the traffic backs up outside our building.
Which makes me all the more grateful that I can work up the chutzpah to climb over these bastards with a certain degree of uneasy familiarity, usually accompanied by the gaze of the drivers still waiting for this monstrosity to move already.
Me? Smug about this little perk to walking through SoDo?

New wall. I was wondering if this would ever get painted. It would always get hit with throw ups and gang tags. Much better this way.

The Finnish Nature Centre Haltia in Nuuksio was opened on the 31th May 2013.
Haltia is a new type of visitor centre, bringing all of Finland’s nature under one roof and closer to the visitor through both the building’s facilities and its stunning exhibitions. Nature from all over Finland can be experienced in the Helsinki region!
The building was designed by the architect Rainer Mahlamäki. The centre signals a new era in wood building, for it is the first public building in Finland built entirely of wood. The environment has been taken into account in Haltia’s facilities and activities alike through skilful design and the latest ecological solutions. Among other features, the building is heated and cooled with energy derived from the sun and the earth.
I finally finished painting the wall colour over the magnet wall, it works great and looks pretty seamless as well.

9 ft 4x4 post and 2x4 stud are added and bolted to hold-own. The other side of garage wall was exterior facing, so it is stucco with uneven surface that requires shaving before 4x4 posts and 2x4 studs are added next to existing studs.

There is a reason I use all CAPS in the title of this image. The words "wall cloud" have become overused in my opinion. I believe that when someone reports a wall cloud, they imply that what they are observing is associated with a mesocyclone. It seems like every blocky cloud has become a wall cloud. There was no doubt in this one. The rotation was some of the fastest I have ever observed. We were looking north here from about 7 miles north of Benkelman, Nebraska.
