Although it might not look like that, that was a hot and bright summer day, it's just that LomoChrome Metropolis isn't a warm and bright film! :D
Here, a corner of Dolac Square and Zagreb Cathedral in the background.

This stone lion is trying to gaze into the bokeh in front of him, but since he's just a stone lion, he can't focus it out. Poor lion! Mid-October 2014.

Warm, sunny summer day on Mrežnica river, August 2013.
APS film isn't that bad. Yeah, this one is pretty grainy, but this is a 400 ASA film, and at least 6 years expired. So, not bad at all.
Taken with Minolta Vectis S-1 APS camera, Minolta V 22–80mm F4 lens, on expired Fujifilm Nexia Advantix 400 APS film.

ACTUAL FILM BLEACH BYPASS NOT DIGITAL
Flowers, this came up well after all the scanner fidgeting.
This was the first image that I got through the scanner and while processing in PS it just came up nearly perfect. Although the negatives were dense, they really were great images.
C41 bleach bypass test.
Old Fuji 100 12 exposure. Shot at ISO 100. Could have underexposed a bit. Developed in Fuji CN-16 N1-MV developer.
Shot with voigtlander Bessa T and testing cheap toy lens, 32mm fixed focus f/10.
Imagine 3:15 minutes in developer and 8 minutes fix. All done. Well sorta. I borrowed this process from theoldcameraguy youtu.be/YRHdmLDbGec
Presoak 100f degrees for 3 min
C41 at 38C for 3:15
rinse 1:30 min
Fix (ilford hypam 1:4) 8 minutes
Wash ...
Fotoflow.
recommended underexposure 1 to 2 stops your mileage may vary, these were not underexposed.
Scanning: These were dense and I expected trouble in the Canon 9000F. I was right. Vuescan could pull up the images but they were very speckled and mottled. I scanned them anyway as color negatives at 4800 DPI and 48 Bit RGB. I was expecting disappointment but here are the results.
The raw scans were black and in photoshop I had to boost the exposure and the brightness to 100% each to get the image. I adjusted the colors in the histograms where necessary and opened the images. Usually they were somewhat washed but there was color. Allowing for auto levels, auto contrast, and auto colors, usually gave great results.

That's rail tracks overpass in the making. Section of the road was obliterated, a new one is being built, there'll be no more waiting for a train to pass.

As you know, the heavy earthquake damaged the eastern Japan so severely yesterday afternoon.
The huge Tsunami after the earthquake attacked the town near the sea in eastern Japan and the fire was still burning around the area. It is like a hell.
So many innocent people were lost. They never thought of such disaster at the usual afternoon......
it hurts me a lot.....
I and my families are safe in Osaka.
I hope my contacts in Japan are all safe...

Testing my Daughter's HP Envy 5540 Scanner with my Vuescan . I did darkroom Prints on Kentmere Grade 1 Glossy Bromide processed in Home-Made Ilford PQ Print formula 1+9 with my Durst M305 + 50mm f2.8 El-Nikkor lens. The Film came out dense as I found there is a 'sticky aperture' and it is slow to Stop Down. Film was KB200 processed in ID11 1+1 for 11 mins.

Quedlinburg, one of the old cities in the former DDR has been, and still is, being, renovated. It has received a UNESCO world heritage status for it's beauty and historical importance. I read that Germany was actually founded there. We had a very nice time strolling through the old and narrow streets....
Here a view down from the castle, which thrones high above the city.
