Thanks to Octopus777fish for letting me have a couple of his shots from last nights MCDP expo. Taken in the Glass creek drain. I was at home.
Early morning light painting is downtown Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada at 6:30 AM.

I thought it was time for a little color so I've brought out this photo. I wasn't happy with the resolution of this composition on 135 so I shot it again at 6x7.
Certainly the circular walls and lights made you feel as if you head through some sort of vortex at Woolwich Foot Tunnel.
This was taken in the Olympic National Park during a very low tide. The ocean waves were bringing in sea foam and depositing it into this tidal pool. The swirling vortex only happened once during the entire time I was there and lasted for just long enough to quickly set up my camera and get one exposure.

The Jewel Rain Vortex is the world's tallest indoor waterfall located in Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore. It stands at a height of 40 meters (130 ft) and is surrounded by a lush forest setting.
Here are some interesting facts about the Jewel Rain Vortex:
a) It is made up of 7,000 pieces of glass.
b) The water that flows through the waterfall is recirculated, making it an environmentally friendly feature.
c) The waterfall is designed to create a cooling effect in the airport, making it more comfortable for passengers.
The US Capitol building, reflected in the ice of the frozen solid Capitol Reflecting Pool. This unusual situation brought to you by the extraordinary cold blast that came when the Arctic Vortex dipped way down into the eastern United States earlier this month. Temperatures were in the single digits Fahrenheit for several days, with some places in the US South even dropping down as low as 0º F (-18º C), with wind chills in the -20º F (-29º C) range. The gulls seemed to be just as confused as everyone else.

Vortex was a steel roller coaster at Kings Island in Ohio. It opened on April 11, 1987.
Vortex debuted as the tallest, full-circuit roller coaster in the world with a height of 148 feet. It was also the first coaster to feature six inversions.
Vortex closed permanently on October 27, 2019.

The first A320NEO prototype, seen landing inToulouse TLS\LFBO. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1127G-JM geared turbofan engines.
The prototype is now testing the new SHort AiRfield Package (SHARP) aerodynamic package designed to permit operation of the A320NEO off short airport runways. It consists of a kevlar panel at the wing root leading edge and a row of vortex generators on the VTP in front of the rudder (seen here o a black strip) to give rudder authority at low speeds. The package also includes engine modifications and replacement brakes. As of November 2017, the package has received official certification and will be used by airlines including LATAM for short Brazilian airports, such as São Paulo–Congonhas Airport.

This is a shot I took on a recent trip to a local carnival with my friend Ian RZ68. If you have not seen his shot of the Viper, make sure to check it out. It is pretty insane!
I don't think it is possible for him and I to drive by a carnival without stopping. I guess we are suckers for all of the lights. Although we arrived just about closing time, we were able to get in some good shots. I like how they strategically placed the trash can at the exit. I guess some people could not handle the spinning madness.
