Hi, this is my redesign proposal, actually I just add more data to explain the graphics because I consider that this graphic it's beauty, but need more data.

Finally I consider that its necesary to tell in a headline which country or countries they did the research? In my opinion I think that this type of data allows to specify more the information to the reader.

This shot places the statue close to frame center, therefore giving it stability and the index vector of his gaze leads the viewer's attention upward, beyond the frame.

Just playing with the brand-new camera... with a bunch of wasabi peas. Uninspired, I know. Hopefully this weekend I'll get to give it a real test drive.

The analysis of football teams as networks of individuals.

Connections between a player and the rest of the team according (here 2 levels). Position in the field are measures according the to area where each player receives the pass (centroid with weights). Size of the node represent the "betweenness" of each player. That is it represents how the ball-flow between other players depends on that particular player.

A sketch I made in Processing (during ITP's 4in4, kinda) trying to visualize Wikipedia as a map of linked pages.

Didn't turn out quite the way I wanted it to (only shows the first 50 links, for example), might give it another try with an offline version of Wikipedia.

Zawila (also spelled Zuila, Zweila, Zwila, Zawilah, Zuwayla or Zuweila) is a village in southwestern Libya. During the Middle Ages, it was the capital of the Fezzan region.

When Uqba ibn Nafi passed through the area in 46 A.H. (666/67 CE), there was no city there. Zawila was settled probably in the early 8th century. It very quickly became the chief town of the region.
