This is a map of my bike ride to PCC. The width of the line shows how slow I was moving - the line thickens up at my house, at PCC, and at stop lines and hills.

TBS is apparently using the same tech that lays down the first-down lines and other graphics during football games, only here they're using it to show a runner's lead off first base.

Neat.

The picture processed is downloaded automaticaly from the Flickr web site and is not mine, so it's a collective piece of art :-)

Deadlines... writing. Books around. eBooks or other eSources. Coffee. Enormous difference to how I felt still only a couple of years ago. Not lonely any more.

Many times I still complete the task by myself. Every time I absorb the winning spirit by orienteering through a selection of networks. I feel what makes people happy right at that moment. It's contagious. Every time. The way I work has definitely been transformed by the emergent networks I've learned to collaborate and create together with.

"T O P O L O G Y" is a meditation of the word visualized in three dimensions in a tangible form. The form is constructed with a Z-Corp CNC prototyping machine and isosurf. "T O P O L O G Y" is the first in a series of 3-D forms created from the orientation of the letters.

Attempting a radial visualization. This doesn't work yet. The extent from the centre is currently derrived from level of detail in each subject code (ie. 0.3 is central, 0.353151 is peripheral). This was a mistake, as it obscures the weight of numbers around common classes.
