This shows the pretend galaxy Halo A through two channels on the WFC3, due to be put on Hubble in 2008. One puzzle to current astrophysicists is why simulations like this produce so many 'dwarf' galaxies surrounding larger galaxies. Is it a fault of the physics in these simulations, or are they too dim to be seen by telescopes? Maybe a bit of both. No-one knows.

This is one of my final designs for this project. It is a shibori earring embellished with beads, crystals, and toped with white & gold pearls. I have illustrated the jewellery piece using acrylics then tested the design by visually communicating how it would sit on the body, using photographs. I have also included a sample of the illustration to show how it would be presented as a physical object, using hand-dyed silk, amethysts, pearls, and crystals. This final illustration has become a successful outcome as it reflects aspects from my research, and it ties in well to the past project of dyed sample work eg. My fringing
