La Sagra del Fuoco di Recco, l’8 settembre 2026, illumina il Golfo Paradiso con uno spettacolo pirotecnico mozzafiato dal molo di ponente del Quartiere Collodari, curato da La Rosa International Fireworks di Bagheria (PA). Le scie blu e oro si riflettono sul mare, avvolgendo la cittadina in un’atmosfera sospesa tra tradizione e meraviglia. Le luci dei fuochi si fondono con quelle delle case e delle barche, creando un mosaico di colori e riflessi che racconta la passione di Recco per la sua festa patronale.
The Sagra del Fuoco in Recco, on September 8, 2026, lights up the Golfo Paradiso with a breathtaking fireworks display from the western pier of the Collodari district, orchestrated by La Rosa International Fireworks from Bagheria (PA). Blue and golden trails shimmer across the sea, wrapping the town in an atmosphere of tradition and wonder. The lights of the fireworks blend with those of the houses and boats, forming a mosaic of colors and reflections that celebrates Recco’s devotion to its patron feast.

A quiet forest scene in the hills of Ariège, France. The ground is bare—just soil and scattered rocks—leading into a stand of tall trees. Some are leafless, others sparse, all softened by a thick morning fog. The mist obscures the background, creating a layered depth and a sense of stillness. No human trace, just the raw geometry of trunks and branches fading into silence. A transitional moment in nature, caught between clarity and disappearance.
[EN] The Nueva Carrara Lookout
The Nueva Carrara Lookout, located in the Maldonado department just a few minutes from Pan de Azúcar, is a panoramic viewpoint built over former marble and limestone quarries. From its platforms—some featuring glass floors and structures cantilevered over the edge—visitors can gaze upon a striking turquoise lake formed by water accumulated in the excavation, its vivid color created by the minerals in the stone.
The site seamlessly blends industrial history with the rolling landscape of the Sierras: marble from this area was used in the construction of Uruguay’s Legislative Palace and other landmark national buildings. Today, it serves as a free public lookout designed for safe sightseeing and photography. It is important to note that descending into the quarry or swimming is strictly prohibited, as the lake is extremely deep and located within a delicate geological environment.
[ES] El Mirador de Nueva Carrara
El Mirador de Nueva Carrara, en el departamento de Maldonado y a pocos minutos de Pan de Azúcar, es un paseo panorámico construido sobre antiguas canteras de mármol y piedra caliza. Desde sus plataformas —algunas con piso de vidrio y estructura volada sobre el vacÃo— se observa un lago de intenso color turquesa, formado por el agua acumulada en la cantera y teñido por los minerales de la roca.
El lugar combina historia industrial y paisaje serrano: de esta zona se extrajo mármol utilizado en la construcción del Palacio Legislativo y otras obras emblemáticas del paÃs. Hoy funciona como un paseo de acceso libre, pensado para disfrutar las vistas de forma segura y fotografiar el entorno. No está permitido descender a la cantera ni bañarse, ya que el lago es muy profundo y el área forma parte de un entorno geológico delicado.
