This is a big old Hunter stylewith deep purple colour and showing full fruit character on both the nose and palate. This wine was made from equal quantities of Traminer and Semillon grapes blended at the crusher and fermented cold for a long period. The fermentation was halted to leave 1% residual sugar in the wine vwhich was bottled early to retain freshness and flavour. The wine shows the aromatic bouquet and flavour of the Traminer variety which is balanced by fresh clean acid of Semillon. This is a slighty sweet fruity style that is ideal for immediate drinking if served slighty chilled. Murray D. Tyrrell Winemaker."

Description: 70 students from 5 regional schools were put in teams mentored by creative professionals to solve a real world advertising problem for an arts education non-profit.

Label reads:"Estd. 1877 McWilliam's Mount Pleasant HERMITAGE 1963 The 1963 Vintage at Mount Pleasant produced distinctive pleasant dry reds and this wine is a good example of the year. It has a well developed bouquet, a delicate flavour and a soft tannin finish. After spending a proportion of its wood ageing in 65 gallon oak hogheads, it was bottled in November, 1964 From the House of McWilliam made at our Pokolbin Cellars a fine vintage wine from the Hunter Valley district of Australia McWilliam's Wines Pty.
