This wine was vintaged from selected Oeillade and Shiraz grapes grown at Langhorne's Creek near Strathalbyn in the Southern Adelaide Ranges. Prior to bottling, it was matured in small oak casks under carefully controlled conditins to obtain a desired balance of flavour and tannin astringency, typical of Lindemans traditinoal dry red claret styles.
