Note, YX25 NXW was scheduled to be registered YY74 UPM but was first registered as YX25 NXW on 1st April 2025 and entered service on the same day
YX25 NXW had passed in the opposite direction earlier working the 11:30 Chorley bus station (Stand L) to Ormskirk bus station (Stand 3) via Gillibrands Park, Charnock Richard, Mawdesley and Parbold 337 service

Hello,
Sharp vision is the first photo in a serie of four. To be honest it's not the first photo I took for this month challenge but I think it's a good one to start with.
This month I was taking photos of my girl so she could use them on her website (check it out).
At the end I ask her to do something different that's not appropriate to post on her website but perfect for my project.
I like the outcome especially because shooting portraits is not something I do a lot.

Plan de sortie du pétrole: Québec solidaire dévoile un plan de développement économique qui créera 160 000 emplois
MONTRÉAL, le 17 mars 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Québec solidaire dévoile aujourd'hui son plan de développement économique: un plan de sortie du pétrole pour l'horizon 2030. Ce plan permettra la création de 160 000 emplois au cours des cinq prochaines années grâce à des investissements de 23 milliards de dollars dans les transports collectifs et la rénovation éco-énergétique.
«Nous avons un choix de société à faire: réduire notre dépendance au pétrole dès aujourd'hui en créant des emplois et de la richesse pour l'ensemble de nos régions ou attendre trop longtemps et en subir de douloureuses conséquences économiques et écologiques. Nous proposons aux Québécoises et Québécois une vision ambitieuse et audacieuse: devenir un des premiers pays du monde à sortir du pétrole», avance Françoise David, candidate de Québec solidaire dans Gouin.
Le plan solidaire de sortie du pétrole est la meilleure façon de répondre au dernier rapport du Groupe intergouvernemental sur l'évolution du climat (GIEC) qui était formel: laisser dans le sol 2/3 des réserves de combustibles fossiles connus pour arriver à l'objectif de plafonner l'augmentation moyenne de la température de 2 degrés. Il constitue aussi une réponse concrète aux défis économiques du Québec, dont celui de la stabilisation de sa balance commerciale déficitaire causée par les importations de pétrole.
«Jacques Parizeau disait récemment que l'économie du Québec avait besoin d'un remède de cheval. Sortir du pétrole est le remède que nous proposons pour le Québec. Sortir du pétrole, ça veut dire des investissements qui représentent 1,3% du PIB dans notre premier mandat. Un tel investissement permettra plus de prospérité que ceux d'Anticosti, de Port-Daniel et des pipelines dont le pétrole est issu des sables bitumineux», lance Manon Massé, candidate de Québec solidaire dans Sainte-Marie Saint-Jacques.
À la fin de sa première phase, en 2020, le plan solidaire permettra:
10 000 nouveaux emplois dans les réseaux de transports en commun;
145 000 emplois dans la construction;
Des emplois en innovation pour des nouvelles technologies vertes. Québec solidaire s'assurera d'investir dans les programmes d'accès à l'égalité pour que des femmes bénéficient aussi directement de cette transition;
1000$ d'économies pour les familles québécoises grâce à la baisse de leur consommation d'essence;
920 millions de dollars de revenus additionnels pour Hydro-Québec.
«Concrètement, sortir du pétrole, c'est rénover des dizaines de milliers de bâtiments, construire des nouveaux moyens de transport, mettre en place des productions énergétiques plus vertes, concevoir des milieux de vie plus écologiques. Ça fait des centaines de milliers de jobs créés à un moment où la situation économique est instable. Les vieux partis ont choisi leur camp, celui des pétrolières et des gazières. Québec solidaire a choisi celui d'un Québec vert», conclut Amir Khadir, candidat solidaire dans Mercier.

A 2008 Victory Vision Tour touring bike. It's pretty funky looking. But it seems to lack some things that other luxury tourers have (i.e. heated grips/seats, various electronic bells and whistles). I was unable to get a pic without the pedestrian tape in front of the bike.

I really need to print a new 'scenic view' off for these photos. I think Rivington Reservoir is suffering from over use!
Called "Visions in Red" this version of the astilbe chinensis plant, was in full purple bloom as I walked through the Washington Park Botanical Garden.
Perhaps it turns red later in its growth cycle.
Almost looks like a purple Christmas tree.
