The day after Christmas and all visions of sugarplums have vanished from my mind. I am looking forward to the New Year and banishing all sugarplums from my diet!

Using a hand-drawn logo as a base, I re-imagined the image via Photoshop. Using generic photos of a funnel and water ripples, along with scads of layers (the blue text was created in a separate file, with one word per layer), I built the image.
New skills I have learned--how to apply an effect to a single layer, using the bevels & drop shadows to add depth, and how to shape type (although I only have a few options since I use Photoshop Elements 6.
I know this could be a lot better, but I'm not a PS Master--I'm just a middling-skilled user!
