Vision Bus Ltd MX07 BVC, a Volvo B9TL built 2007 with a Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini CH45/29F body on Black Horse Street in Bolton arriving with the 15:03 Rivington & Blackrod High School to Bolton (Black Horse Street) 913 school service. Wednesday 20th April 2022
Note, MX07 BVC was first registered on 17th June 2007 and originally operated by First Manchester Limited as number 37307. First Manchester Limited’s Wigan operations were acquired by the Stagecoach Group on 2nd December 2012, MX07 BVC passing to Greater Manchester Buses East Limited as number 16952. Greater Manchester Buses East Limited was renamed Greater Manchester Buses West Limited on 5th December 2012. MX07 BVC was transferred to Fife Scottish Omnibuses Limited as number 16952 in March 2013. It was loaned to Bluebird Buses Limited as number 16956 during March 2018 but the loan was soon made permanent. It was transferred to Glenvale Transport Limited as number 16952 in May 2018 but was never used in service and was acquired by North West Bus Sales Limited (a Bolton based dealer) in June 2019. It was acquired by Vision Bus Ltd in June 2019 and entered service in September 2019

As First has contracted around Bolton, Vision has expanded to cover several local routes including this, the 571 & 572 Great Lever circulars. Newly acquired Versa YJ57 XVR came from Marchants but was new to Transdev Burnley & Pendle.
The red brick clock tower was once part of the nearby Trinity Street station but was relocated to its present position in the 80's when the original station buildings were demolished.

Today Geely is China's largest independent carmaker and one of the most well-known since it took control over Swedish carmaker Volvo in 2010. With recent launches including the Borui, Boyue, Emgrand GS and Emgrand GL, not to mention the 'premium' Lynk & Co 01 and 03 models, and after buying a controlling stake in Proton and Lotus, Geely shows it is the Chinese carmaker to watch. Geely was founded by Li Shifu in 1986 as a refrigerator maker with money borrowed from family and car production started in 1998. In 2013 Li Shifu was the 63rd richest person in mainland China.
Geely Automobile started in 1998 with copies of the popular Xiali by Tianjin-FAW, a licensed copy of the Daihatsu Charade G100. The 豪情 Haoqing (HQ) was offered in hatchback and stationcar (SRV) body styles. In 2003 it was followed by the 美日 Merrie (MR) and 优利欧 Uliou (MR as well), a hatchback and liftback with a larger boot and sedan respectively. The older models can still be regularly seen in two- and third-tier cities, as well as rural places.
The Geely Vision (FC) was launched in 2006 and is a copy of the Toyota Corolla E120. In 2009 Geely launched the SC7, a Vision with a different look, under the Shanghai Maple marque. It became an Englon SC7 Haijing in 2010. In the same year Geely launched the GC7 under the new Gleagle brand and started selling the model in 2011. It's basically another version of the Vision. A facelifted version was launched in 2014 as GC7 Vision, effectively replacing both the pre facelift GC7, Vision and SC7 Haijing.
