I normally post only one shot a day, but seeing as we're only an hour and five from tomorrow, I'm just going to throw caution to the wind.
Earlier this afternoon, I met my good friend Bella, for a coffee or two, and some lively conversation. Arriving with five minutes to spare, I decided to shoot an area of the city with a thoroughly rundown courtyard from the 1960's, which, is shortly to be demolished for a brand new 'vision of the city'.
Earlier on in the week, I had passed the other side of the building, pictured, and decided that it was about time to act before it is quite simply, too late; so I did! Then it was time for coffee and company, which was, and always is, brilliant.
If you have time, I'd recommend stopping by and taking in the beautifully peaceful rustling of the big old Willow trees, the empty pool, the worn slabs, weather beaten and uneven, the old tiled fountain, forlorn and dry, the matching benches, and the decades old façades that are well and truly past their prime, but with more character and even more soul than anything that is to come. Observe and remember.

Having settled at Vision after a couple of years touring the country as a Wright demonstrator, StreetDeck SL15 ZGP has now gained full livery and, I reckon, looks smarter than it ever did under its previous ownership.

interlaced with it's intoxicating sounds.
The sure dripping and splashing and running
fills up my tired mind with it's own thoughts, in a way.
Then I don't need to think my own.
Grand Vision comes into view following behind the Matson ship, as the ship loaded with Toyota's from Toyohashi, Japan, headed for Pier B comes into Long Beach, with the Tug-boat Jamie Ann protecting the stern of the ship. The Cool Reefer drifts into the frame, as it sits at anchor on the outer harbor although this boat was even smaller than the previous ship catching two ships back to back really tied in the whole night.

There's not many LEGO renditions of this ship on the internet so I thought I'd try my had at one.
I had been working on this for a month or so before I saw Caleb Rick's version on Flickr. It definitely inspired me to re-work a few areas, but I tried to stick with my original vision as much as I could.
This is one of my favourite Star Wars vehicles, it's a shame it's so under-represented in LEGO!
