It's opening day for the Stand For Palestine event, and I'm grateful to be participating in a few ways. Firstly, I've textured this scarf to be a Palestinian-style keffiyeh, and it's currently being sold at the event. Outside of that, I am also offering 2 each of 3 services which are being auctioned off: sim/parcel/set design, avatar styling, and photography.

100% of the proceeds from this event are going to UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency) which provides education, healthcare, food, and emergency relief to Palestinian refugees across the Middle East.

The climax of the story: every eye will see Jesus coming in power. His glory will light up the sky. This still is part of a backup for a virtual reality 360 I took at this location. We're experimenting with ways to bring VR into online courses, and I played with some of the technology while at a conference in Jackson.
We're doing a serious pilot project at Indiana Dunes National Park this spring. We want to know what things students do (not) learn effectively in a VR setting.
Whatever the answer to that question, I spent a lovely morning snowshoeing off-trail through Grand Teton National Park, taking both VR and conventional images.
