Lita has been using Ubuntu for two and a half years! She uses LibreOffice.org for spreadsheets and word processor documents. Using Firefox and Thunderbird for web browsing and email is a snap for her - she picks things up very easily. She needed to continue to use Quicken for her finances so we set her up with Windows XP running as a virtual machine in VirtualBox! Now she has no worries - it's smooth sailing.
The playbook installs the official Visual Studio Code version via snap. My dotfiles configuration enables the fonts (Fira Code Retina) and settings I usually use.

A la derecha, un par de widgets y la imagen del Che Stallman. No, no es el Che Guevara, es Richard Stallman. Un verdadero revolucionario y que no ha disparado un solo tiro.
This is where I do my coding or development work mainly. Usually have two qterminals open. One for editing in Vim and another for running tests. Alternatively if I am working in Ecilpse then that will be open, likewise if I am running OSX in VirtualBox then that will be open instead. Or Windows for DevStudio.
