For the 4th of July I had an incredible opportunity to shoot from the 40th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, in San Francisco. My buddy Michael Shainblum and I had 5 cameras timelapsing the whole time. I have tons of shots to go through still need to get some sleep! Here is one frame to get you started, one shot no compositing. Hope you all enjoyed your evening!

View on black please!
After spending a huge amount of time photographing in and around the Eiffel Tower (La Tour Eiffel) we decided to call it a night. Mainly due to the fact that it closed at midnight. I got a few snaps of it at night, then at 01:00 it sparkled blue, as it does every night on the hour, every hour. I got yet another photo of this famous landmark and thought I'd frame it using the Wall For Peace (Le Mur pour La Paix).
It turns out that they turn the lights out at 01:00 until the next evening. I was slightly gutted at this, but I thought I'd take this shot anyway. As it turns out, I really like the result. It's not often you see the Eiffel Tower at night, not lit up, framed by this monument. The whole thing has a sort of futuristic feel to it. I'm not too sure if that's the right word, so please tell me what you think. I'm quite happy with the colour contrast of the grass and the subtle colours in the night sky. A nice semi-accidental shot.

Just back from Time-Lapse shooting at one of my favorite places in the Dolomites. The "Godzilla Mountain" (2340m altitude) It was cold, unstable, fucking expensive and absolutely amazing!
One cool side effect of timelapse is that I can stack several shots for the sky and the foreground to reduce noise. I'm very pleased with the result, I even think this is the best night shot I've ever did because it has everything I like (and most astrophotographers don't). Cool light-pollution, dramatic clouds, but the best for me was the fog which does some crazy things in the video. Will need to find some time to finish it though. Now off for sleep.....zzzz

It was a sunny day in the isle of Djurgården. Despite the fact of being tremendously sad I felt you attemps for healing me, throughout your own enthusiasm. Even though I did not realise of what was happening, I remember that I felt happier. And this is something that I feel quite grateful for. I had not seen you before then enjoying that much the wildlife, what trasmitted me a similar feeling to when you kept an eye on A., when I was not at home. You smiled, laughed and were almost hyperactive, drawing my attention to any animal you saw or asking uncountable questions about anything else. Good memories build themselves in the most unexpected ways, but it is definitely worth to take the risk. Lemurs, as we do, love to sit under the sun to keep them warm, for what they also stay together to their families or closest ones, forming what it is called a "lemurs ball".
