This should be a nice view of the vineyards from St Emilion but on a misty, grey day only the floral display lifts the spirits.

The edge of Grand Pre rimmed by lush apple blossoms. This is the same farm as I can view from my yard.

Florence, Italy: Another view of the Ponte Vecchio on the left with buildings along the Arno river in black and white.
The view of the countryside below the Roman Fort at Hardknott Pass. The massive boulder looked like yet another tower overlooking the hilly approaches to the fort. Note the Cumbrian walls stretching all over the hilly countryside. Some of them reach all the way to the peak! Cumbrian farmers must have had a lot of spare time on their hands!

The view from my hotel room window when I was in St. Louis.
I took this shot without a tripod. It was hand held. Well, I had the camera pressed between the window and my forehead, and then I stood very, very still.
*I called this my "Licky view" because I posted the first photo of my view from my Blackberry, and I didn't pay attention to auto-completed text when I sent the message. It was supposed to be lucky, but it came out licky. Oops!
