I took these photos right after each other (in order presented), but changed the setting for exposure (going from 0 to -1 to -2). This little exercise was helpful in seeing how that makes a difference.
From my tenth floor room in the Ibis Hotel Darling Harbour. The room is tiny, but the view is breathtaking.

I realized I am always showing the view from our apartment, but I never posted the view from the other side of the building. This is what you see when you go up the stairs. In the red building there is a supermarket, a gym, and until recently the headquarters of Zakład (a workshop with space and tools for rent to artists and diy enthusiasts). Behind the office building in the back there is the river Warta. Right there you can board on a small ferry and travel along the river, or more to the right, there are beaches and summer clubs. On the other side of the river there is the Poznań Cathedral. It’s the oldest cathedral in Poland, dating from the 10th century. So plenty of things to see and enjoy on this side as well. ^_^

Two traffic wardens having an argument under my window. At some point I thought they were going to hit each other. They had difficulty to decide where to go after the argument. So 'who's going to win the what-side-shall-we-go battle? The guy on the left won.
Next day I saw them walking wide apart at Buchanan street ;) New buddy coming up I guess.
It is a bit strange. The whole city seems to be full of traffic wardens writing tickets. Nothing wrong with that, but wouldn't the money for them not better be invested in police? Youth care? Education? Refubishment of some streets? Another yellow-man phenomenon is te cleaners. They wear yellow jackets and you can see them strolling along the city, broom on their shoulders, laughing and joking with each other. Their purpose in life seems to be to stroll along the city and walk somewhere. You don't see them cleaning. They have machines for that.
