Dr. Sylvester Black is with the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Division of Transplant Surgery. COSI's "In Depth: Kidney Transplant" is a multi-point program for grades 9 and up that connects up to 5 schools at one time, including an audience at COSI for groups and individuals. COSI's "In Depth: Kidney Transplant" is presented by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Dr. Lyons used examples from ice core data from polar regions to detail how the climate has changed over this period. In addition he used observations made on polar and alpine glaciers in the past few years to provide information about the impact of today's climate on glacier dynamics.

 

Dr. Lyons is a Professor in the School of Earth Sciences at OSU, and his main areas of research are Hydrogeology, Earth System Science, Geochemistry.

Jeremy Bailenson - founding director of Stanford University's Virtual Human Interaction Lab - explores the manners in which avatars change the nature of remote communication, and how these transformations can impact the ability to influence others in social and professional contexts.
