The new camera of commandN!

My old video camera had some problems that seemed to be a bad connection. So since I had a new camera and hadn't used this one for some time I thought I could just as well crack it open and go over all the connectors inside. And it did actually work better after I put it back together again!

On a warm summer Friday evening our whole neighborhood in St. John's watched the corner mini-mart, the Shamrock Market, burn to the ground.

Richmond Olympic Oval Opening Ceremony

The one used at the first televised Kennedy-Nixon debate.

The whole time I was in college I meant to stop by the JFK Library, but it seemed so far away on the Red Line. (The only other time I ventured past South Staion was when I had jury duty at one of the Quincy stops.) On my return visits I've meant to go, but it was hard to fit it in. Since this trip was fairly spontaneous, I figured it was the perfect time to visit.

I hadn't been to a presidential library before, so I didn't really know what to expect. It turned out to be more museumy than I thought it would be, and overall it felt surprisingly cold and impersonal. Perhaps that had something to do with the sparse architecture of the building. The video intro at the beginning was great though, completely narrated by JFK himself.

The wikipedia article gives some history about how the library ended up where it did. JFK chose a site at Harvard but after Cantabridgian opposition it was moved.

The rugged 2010 Tachyon XC video camera mounted on the side of the mask with the included side mount. This gives you a full 90 degree view of the action, leaving your hands free for your gun.

Have you ever left your videocamera turned on without noticing?

Did you watch what you unnoticedly filmed?

Did you like it? Did you erase it, or kept it?

Don’t you wonder why everything looks good in

Canon SLR high definition cameras?

Is this the real world, the world we see everyday,

or is it a dream dreamnt for us?

How many youtube videos can you watch in one day?

Have you ever watched more than one video at the same time?

Can you recommend us a video you really liked?

If I would ask you right now in which direction is

Buenos Aires or Massachusetts or Aoyama where would you point to?

Oh heck yea. New camera, 250GB external HD. Oh this will be good.

The attached video was created using Qik VideoCamera application for

the iPhone.

Hole needs to be centered in this area and just big enough to allow a 1/4" bolt to be run through it. The bolt/screw should be a pan head or flat head one so as to not stick up to high in the inside area and interfere with the camera snapping securely into the mounting case. Use a tether of a small rubber band if you don't trust the locking tabs on this mount. I do use a tether like this.

Waiting for the trains.
