I am pretty sure this was actually Santa Claus on Halloween night. Today it was a pilgrim in honor of Thanksgiving.

Day 35: It's all kicking off in the garden. Last week, heavy snow. Today there are snowdrops sprouting up all over the place. It's much warmer too; long may it continue!
Still not moving out of the house without the Fujifilm X-S1 and I've soon got to commit my thoughts on the camera for the April issue of Digital SLR. Generally, I have nothing but positive feelings towards the camera. There are a couple of things that ring alarm bells, but generally it's a great camera to have to hand.
It proved its versatility on this shot. Flipping up the tiltable LCD and engaging the super macro option and I was able to get this shot with little hassle. A bit of Lightroom tweakery with the Yesteryear 1 preset is the only other thing that's been done. Tomorrow will represent 10% completion of this project. It doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm pleased to have achieved over a month and I'm in the groove of getting a picture every day. It keeps the mind focused. Ahem.
Lancaster County 4-H and 4-H Council presented the Lancaster County 4-H Achievement Celebration on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2024. The theme was "Our 4-H'ers Are Going Places." 4-H members, clubs and leaders were recognized for their 2023 achievements.
I never wear a long salt/pepper white beard, but it was something different and shows versatility. If a production requires a more mature character that fits me, I can adapt. *A bit of makeup was used to whiten the beard & on my skin to enhance the aging process for this image. Photo by Steve Mark.
