Like all the other unmanned aerial vehicles on the show I've seen such 'things' the first time in real. Standing in front of this one it was like seeing an alien vehicle.

Northern Rail Limited Associated Rail Technologies class 142 ‘Pacer’ two car diesel-hydraulic railbus unit number 142056 (55752, 55706) of Newton Heath Traction Maintenance Depot passes by Castleton East Junction signal box on the Up Main line forming the daily 16:03 Rochdale to Kirkby (2F11). Thursday 10th April 2008
Note, 142056 was built by Associated Rail Technologies (a consortium of Leyland Vehicles Limited who built the body and British Rail Engineering Limited who built the underframe) at British Rail Engineering Limited’s Litchurch Lane works Derby circa December 1986 for British Railways as number 142056, although it was initially expected to be numbered 142106. 142056 was deformed in January 1988 and was reformed as 142056 circa May 1988. The original diesel-mechanical transmission was replaced by diesel-hydraulic transmission in 1990 and it was scheduled to be renumbered 142556 but the renumbering never took place. It passed to Angel Train Contracts Limited on 1st April 1994 as part of the privatisation of British Railways Angel Train Contracts Limited was renamed as Angel Trains Limited on 16th May 2000 and 142056 was on lease to Northern Rail Limited

Ten years separate these vehicles - on the left is 937 AHY,a 1958 built Bristol MW5G with an ECW B45F body (Fleet No. 2947),whilst the vehicle on the right is a Bristol RE delivered in March 1968,Fleet No. 1064 (registration NHU 198F). The older vehicle has the destination B.N.S.,which was British Nylon Spinners,later I.C.I. at Brockworth,Gloucester. This would have been taken in the summer of 1968,2947 being transferred away in October that year.
A shame it's starting to rot, but the W124s do seem to suffer in that respect. Even back in 2006 it was getting MoT advisories for corrosion.

I found the Molson Beer Vats parked on highway 27 just north of highway 407 today and had to get some pics. Its not every day that you see containers capable of holding 6 million bottles of beer rolling by your house. These things are HUGE! to be precise, 45 metres long, 8 metres high and more than 7 metres wide.
This is one big and complicated operation all for our sweet, sweet beer. Yes!

Total cost of transport: $24 million.
Weight per vat is 43,500 Kg or 95,901 Lbs or 45.5 Tonnes.
One guy's job is to tweet about the location of the convoy.
1614 hydro wires will have to be raised or moved to allow transport of these massive beer cans.
250 traffic lights are planned to be moved.
Total distance travelled is planned to be about 108 km.
A total of 40 vehicles are involved, with 20 of those being police cruisers.
