My apologizes for the long hiatus, gentlemen... A little depression (work, the illness of my lady) kept me away from Lego... Which is very uncool, as you may guess ;-) So I've missed NoVVember and even FebRovery... shame on me !
Thanks to all people who had gives me kind words of support, really.
Here's some Rovers which should have been uploaded during FebRovery, but I just couldn't find the time, sadly. They're rather meh, but anyway it's a way to show I'm not dead.
Keep brickin mates :-D

Pilgrim Coaches Ltd were a small coach unit formed on 23rd January 1984 from part of Shamrock & Rambler Coaches Ltd, itself formed on 1st April 1983 from the coach fleet of Hants & Dorset Motor Services Ltd. Pilgrim used a rather pleasing two tone blue local NBC stripey livery. Here we see one of two 12-metre ECW B51 Leyland Leopards that formed part of the small Pilgrim coach fleet. The location is the famous Battersea coach park in London, next to the River Thames and the Battersea Power Station. This was the main coach parking area used by the NBC, until the site was sold around about 1987. It was a rather hot July day, funny how things like that can stick in your mind. I chose this photograph, because it shows how attractive the ECW B51 looked when a pleasing livery was applied. The two tone blue and white livery suits the B51, notice the Leyland wheel trims, that just adds the finishing touch to the appearance of the coach.
Another of the former Cotters Coachline vehicles, from the second batch, was SXF615, seen at Stagecoach's Hobden St depot in 1989. it retains its 40 seat configuration with centre galley & toilet. This coach survived in service until the mid 2000s with GEM coaches of Hamilton, but has since been sold for conversion to a motorhome.

The Sunbeam Alpine is a sporty two-seat open car from Rootes Group's Sunbeam car marque. The original was launched in 1953 as the first vehicle from Sunbeam-Talbot to bear the Sunbeam name alone since the 1935 takeover of Sunbeam and Talbot by the Rootes Group. A muscle-car variant of the later versions was also built, the Sunbeam Tiger.

Leyland's very first Titan is seen at an open day at the Leyland plant in the mid seventies. This one was an unregistered development vehicle that was purely used for testing purposes. It's main duties were durability tests, running a daily 'route' between Preston and Bolton with Leylands engineers on board.
It wore this uninspiring drab green livery and was never registered, just being known as Development Vehicle B15.01 with chassis number 7501705.
Once it's purpose had been served, the bus was dismantled at Leyland and scrapped.

TOPS Code : YDA.
Fishkind Code : OCTOPUS.
ADDITIONAL NOTES.
These ballast hoppers coded by the engineers department as 'Octopus' are used in a fixed formation of up to 10 hoppers with a generator van. The Skako ballast distribution equipment can be seen between the two bogies. This consists of a variable height and swing radius conveyor to unload railway ballast to either side or underneath from two hopper compartments within the wagon. The train was built for use on the BR Southern Region and was once painted yellow and branded 'Network South East' it has since been sold to English, Welsh & Scottish Railway Co. (now DB Schenker). It was unique when new as up until its arrival all ballast was discharged manually from older ballast hoppers. These wagons also allowed for easier ballast distribution on lines fitted with 750v DC conductor rails as the discharge could be controlled by staff on the ground with hand held remote control units. This was a major step forward as older manual discharge hoppers would often bury the conductor rail and require digging out and most plough brake vans couldn't operate on conductor rail lines due to the risk of conductor rail displacement.

Whilst many may look back at the benefits of mid engined vehicles on local bus services and their relative simplicity compared to their modern low floor counterparts nothing ilustrates better than this shot the benefits to passengers of the introduction on super low floors buses.
