In 1992 the Chicago and North Western leased two BCR GE's to test in DP service, #'s 4617 & 4607. Here the 4617 and two other GE's are doubling over and preparing to depart Fremont with a 150 car coal train with the BRC4607 on the rear end.
I do not know if the RR was granted a waiver from using an ATC leader or if the BRC4617 was equipped with some temporary setup, but the train ran in this configuration to Boone, AFAIK. 5-8-1992
Greater Manchester Transport, Leyland Titan PD2, Training Vehicle TV22 (formerly 3666) 9866 NA was new to Manchester Corporation in 1961 with an H37/28R Metro Cammell body, and was based at Queens Road depot prior to withdrawal from revenue-earning service.

One of a small number of 4x4 RRV's in use with EoEAS. This one, a 2003 Honda CRV was seen parked at an incident in one of the shops on Queens Road, Braintree.
This one is not usually seen around Essex. AFAIK its usually seen around South Suffolk.
Also bit odd how it doesn't have any ambulance wording on the side.

One of Essex Police's Volvo V70 Armed Response Vehicles seen responding to a incident on Straight Road, Stanway.
G532 VBB was originally a TM vehicle when the company was took over by the Wellglade Group in 2010 where it stayed until Spring 2011 when it moved to sister company Notts & Derby. It was then repainted into Notts & Derby livery and was used in service there for about a year until it moved back to TM in early 2012 to be used as a source of spares.

One of 9 Essex Police marked Roads Policing Unit motorbikes. This was part of a Large Commercial Vehicle Operation at Thurrock Services. Behind him he had a HGV which whose details he wanted to check over.

A Very unusual Range Rover belonging to WMFRS seen here responding in Birmingham. This vehicle is used to respond to Automatic Fire Alarm Activations to avaoid sending a full size pump to a false alarm.
Based at Ladywood Fire Station.
This batch were some of the first vehicles new to Badgerline after privitisation. Then First Badgerline/First Somerset & Avon and latterly First Devon & Cornwall with top removed for summer season work. Model was First Leeds Scania. I removed top repainted interior, added handrails and screen and new destination, registrations and fleet numbers.
After the WNY&P Driftwood Turn only made it north as far as Barberton Rd the previous night, the crew originally scheduled to run to Salamanca was sent to bring the DFT the final few miles back to Olean. This shot shows the five MLW M636's crossing Cole Creek in Portville, NY pulling over 100 cars.

Heading eastward, NS stacks from Landers Yard snake through 80th Street Interlocking and start climbing up the long flyover that carries the former C&WI over the Belt Railway of Chicago. Once the train reaches Pullman Junction, it will pass through Calumet Yard and use the former Nickel Plate main out of the city.
