The 4th 'Flash' livery for Plymouth is the Green Flash, which operates on route 5/5A between St Budeaux-Elburton/ Staddiscombe.
It has to be said I prefer the application of the livery on the single deck Enviro 200s compared to these E400s, rather too much of the turquoise bands on these for my liking. Having said that it's a nice green and makes the fleet look more interesting.

SW Ohio. This old jewel was found on the side of the road where it is being used as a Halloween prop. My best guess is that it is a 1940 vintage, but I can't tie down the exact year. I would think it is pretty rare in this configuration.

A very rare sight is this lovely Hyundai i30 IRV belonging to the Met Police. I believe this is a trial vehicle and its fitted with front bumper and fend off LED's, double BB livery and ANPR. Spotted this leaving so ran right round to the back of the base to get photos!

Cicadas belong amongst trees, not offices. It seemed quite odd to see this one hanging over a parking lot without a tree in sight. Poor thing; I hope it found a more congenial environment.

Looks like a modern SUV or Crossover vehicle, this 1939 Chevrolet was on display at a Car Show in Littleton, Colorado.

The Volkswagen Transporter series, also referred to as the Volkswagen Group T platform series, refers to several generations of motor vehicles from Volkswagen Group, starting with the original Volkswagen Type 2.
These vehicles are traditionally in the light commercial vehicle sector; and comprise vans, minivans, minibuses, pick-ups, campervans, and other derived vehicles, spanning over 60 years of production from 1950. Throughout their generations, they have generally been available worldwide. Its traditional competitors are the Toyota Hiace and Mercedes-Benz Vito.
Though the T1 to T3 generations were named unofficially and retrospectively, the T series is now considered an official Volkswagen Group automotive platform.

A rare vehicle is this mitshibitshi shogun used by safer transport command/RPU, seen at a checkpoint on Embankment involving the Met and VOSA checking HGV's. This vehicle used to be a marine unit and has now been put into battenberg after having the original 'jam sandwhich' livery.

A type of vehicle in London that has taken a bit of a hit lately is the DAF/VDL SB120 - a competitor to the Dennis Dart that only Arriva really took an interest in. This bus last operated on route 450 on 07/10/16 and the route has now been upgraded to new Wright Streetlite DF's. Other examples have been withdrawn from Harrow area services but a handful of 06 reg DWL's still exist running from Garston Garage (route 288 at least is still running them). There may be a few other elsewhere but the type is not far off extinction now.
The other company that runs the type, Go-Ahead London, does not by choice - it inherited some from East Thames Buses. They are also in their last days now, operating on route 108 waiting to be replaced by refurbished Citaros.
Two uploads in the space of 24 hours, I know it's intense.
I've seen hundreds of C63's (literally) with all of them being in either silver, black, white or a various shade of grey, but never in red!
I like the C63 a lot but it doesn't really fit in with what I like to post but having never seen a red one I thought I'd throw it up here. That and the fact it looks boss in red.
Still doesn't warrant it's own day though. :P
