This is an example of one project piece that was done to learn more about personalized printing. In this piece my target audience were females who liked to wear dressier type clothing.

It took some time to get this female damselfly not perching flat on the ground. Back yard, Bernardsville, NJ
On closer inspection, it appears that all the blue damselfles at Berrington Pool are Variable, not Azure, as I had thought!
This Variable Cracker, Hamadryas feronia, is nearly invisible on mottled tree trunks in its native Central American habitat. Crackers are named for the weak noise they make in flight.

Didn't shoot a great variety of birds on the trip, there were a few flocks of small birds on this dirt road though. Also, we saw a pair of Tayras (large black weasels) run across the road. Wouldn't necessarily recommend driving through the hills though... amazing our rental Pathfinder made it back in one piece.

Having lots of problems identifying damselflies, was going through a load of photos of what I had thought were Azure or Common Blues when I came across these two shots (I think of the same damselfly). The giveaway is the two blue spots on the thorax (described in my book as like "blood dripping from fangs". Nice.
