I wanted to depict a Desmodus Rotundus bat, known as Vampire Bat, with a stylized look.

The base model was done with Maya, the sculpting with Mudbox, the texturing with Photoshop and ZBrush, the seams fixing with Bodypaint.

Lighting and rendering in Softimage XSI and compositing in Photoshop.
