I chose this picture for my Element of Design for my value picture because I thought it brought out the difference in shades between the light blue and black.

Value represents the gradient of one color to another. In photography, value represents the illusion of brightness down to darkness of a photo.

This is my best example of texture because the texture of the shoe is evidently shown in the picture. The close up view emphasises on the texture of the shoe rather than the what is around it.
I feel like there is a lot of space to my design, but i feel like i should have added more color in the background to give it more of the feeling of depth.
There are a few different movements that take you to the outside of the picture and away from cirtain sports but by doing that it maks you want to focus at a spot.
the heaviest shape in my design is the triangles, and the wedgle of the boarder. it gives folcal points.
The space og my deisign has a balance of light and dark also of shapes making it feel balanced.

Intersections' Power and Values program works to initiate a national conversation about the values and value systems that gird the exercise of power in the world. It seek to suggest new norms of ethical responsibility for decision makers and alternative value systems for weighing options and making choices.
