There was some road construction on the Northside Dr. and took me 2 loop arounds to find the location, blended with 3 exposures.
Faces of Valley View in 2019. This photo taken in May 2019 after heavy snow melt. Shot when shooting the Dogwood Tree blooms.
Captured this Southern heading back to the south after having been at the Norfolk Southern Altoona, Pennsylvania shop. This is the 100th anniversary heritage locomotive.
We visited Yosemite during the Memorial Day holiday with stops at the Yosemite Valley (and the Mist Trail Hike), a drive through Tioga Pass (that had just opened and it snowed during our drive) and out to Eastern Sierra / Mono Lakes area
These represent the remainder of images we gathered on our recent 5-day trip to west Texas. These wildflowers, critters, and scenes don't really do justice to the wide variety of habitat and photographic subjects we encountered, but it should give you a taste of the bountiful nature of west Texas

Teenagers in the area have give this spot the nickname "God's Country". The view is magnificent and on a clear dark night you can see four different towns from this vantage point. Fargo lights up one area and it is 40 miles away. The farmer has even left a large 50 gallon drum along side the road to reduce the littering. It is a favorite parking place for young adults since you can see for miles.
