I finished the cleaning today - always a good job to get done, and quite satisfying as long as one doesn't do it too often!
We also walked over to Coln to post something and take a laptop and a rake to a friend - the laptop was hers, and she was borrowing the rake.
I did a bit of weeding, but although the sun was out a bit more today, it got quite chilly in the wind, so I wimped out and came inside again.

The hose port is framed by a chrome ring that names the model. A textured foil plate extends to the rubber ring around the unit and bears the Hoover logo. The red detailing is very striking against this model's teal colouring.

The Dyson is pretty much the vacuum cleaner of choice these days but we still call it the hoover. In Years to come will we say Dysoning instead of Hoovering ???
