V&T train ride from Virginia City to the Gold Hill Depot for the unveiling and reception of Saylor's portrait, "Nine Cheers for the Silver State."
Main Street remains neat and clean. Although all of the stores I remember as a youth are gone, they have been replaced with much nicer shops, boutiques, and eateries. There is nothing about St. Albans that looks poor or cheap. In my day, the main industry was the railroad, steam, coal and dirty.
