In preparation for the UEFA EURO 2012, the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw, Poland will upgrade to the Trellchem® VPS suit from Trelleborg Protective Products as their standard type 1a (Level A), fully encapsulated chemical protective suit for their first responders.
UEFA EURO 2012, the 14th United European Football Association’s championship, will be held in and jointly hosted by Poland and Ukraine from 8 June to 1 July 2012. Trellchem® VPS suits will be distributed to Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw where matches will be played, as well as other Polish cities. The suits will ‘play’ a key role to secure the fire service’s counter terrorism capability during the championship.
Senior Sales and Product Manager, Trelleborg Protective Products AB, John Eklund, says: “The Trellchem® VPS suit was selected by the National Headquarters of the State Fire Service due to its ability to withstand harsh environments combined with its compliance to the stringent regulations and standards applying to protective suit materials and the suits themselves. In addition, as the Trellchem® VPS has only a single layer with superior abrasion resistance it can be donned quickly, allowing hazmat responders to perform their challenging jobs with greater functionality and safety.”
Trellchem® VPS has full certification to EN 943:2 (edition 2002). The material and complete suits are also compliant to other standards and regulations. It meets the requirements set out in EN 1073-2 for protection against radioactive particles and those in EN 14126 for protection against bio-hazards/infective agents, and is also fully certified to the stringent American standard NFPA 1991 (edition 2005). Trellchem® VPS suit is a unique reusable, single skin, one layer suit made of a garment material developed and produced by Trelleborg Protective Products.

Trying my British 'Ensign Selfix 12/20 once again. I had an outdated Kodak VPS III 120 film with no actual date but I rated it at 25 ASA which seemed correct . I processed it myself in C41 . I Metered with a British ' Weston Master III' and got 1/50th @ f5.6 and f4.5 as the light was poor . This time I allowed for the ;Albada Viewfinder' not giving the accurate result and the 'Infinity Focus' being actually at 40 feet setting. Variable pixel size VPS (Variable Pixel Size)
Foveon X3 has another interesting feature - it can change the size of the pixel (in the future, this technology will be called VPS). The VPS technology opens up new horizons for the cameras and cameras they are installed in. The uniqueness of the technology lies in the fact that the matrix can change its resolution by combining signals from several pixels into one, which allows us to perceive a group of pixels as one large pixel.
For example: a sensor of 2300 x 1500 pixels contains approximately 3.4 million pixels. If we combine all the pixels in 4 × 4 pixel groups using VPS technology, we would end up with a matrix of 575 × 375 pixels, but each of them would be 16 times larger than the nominal pixel. This would significantly increase the amount of light received by one pixel, and inevitably would lead to an increase in the sensitivity of the Foveon X3 matrix.
The most common possible configurations of pixel groups are:
2 x 2 pixels
4 x 4 pixels
1 x 2 pixels
Management of groups of pixels occurs through a complex scheme integrated into Foveon X3
Because Foveon X3 fixes the entire portion of the visible range at each pixel location, the pixels in the merged groups are full-color "highest-quality pixels."
Pixel grouping increases the "Useful signal / Noise ratio", allowing you to take full-color shots in low light with minimal color distortion. Thanks to VPS technology, it became possible to increase pixels, reducing their total number and resolution
As a mistake, I’ve loaded my Rolleiflex twin lens with a KODAK VPS Pro 100 Film / PRN, instead of a TX B&W. I’ve realized the wrong film only after downloading. Moreover, I don’t know for how many years the film was expired. It comes from a stock of old films kindly given by my friend Angelo Aldo Filippin (Thanks Aldo).
So this is the result:
Old colors (very tough in a postmodern - lomography addicted world) and two side magenta bars due to light infiltration over the years. Very vintage.

The VPS Netze (United Prussian Ship Netze) is a light cruiser developed to harass enemy shipping with multiple small calibre cannons. Although she may not be able to handle herself when facing a modern Tyrant battleship, her speed and rapid fire cannons can prove lethal to unprotected shipping.
Armament consists of 15 10cm cannons located on deck mounts.

DGS 69397 Hamburg-Waltershof Hansaport - Beddingen VPS
