I found several butterflies fluttering around the flower field at Lexington Community Farm today, a black swallowtail and two monarchs. The monarchs didn't like sharing, with the swallowtail, or each other. They were constantly chasing each other around, and would only perch to feed sporadically.

Es handelt sich um eine Drei-Personen-Skulptur, die in der Spree zwischen Elsenbrücke und Oberbaumbrücke nahe dem Schnittpunkt der drei Ortsteile Kreuzberg, Alt-Treptow und Friedrichshain aufgestellt wurde.

I visited Joppa Hill Farm today, a community farm owned by the town of Bedford, NH. I love community farms, as they usually let you walk around and meet the animals. It's also nice that they're owned by their community, who are invested in making it a thriving farm, often with an educational purpose.
These goats are among a half dozen or so living there, and they are friendly. They enjoyed some pats and scratchies for Christmas.
De la visite rare dans le coin, 2 Hiboux moyen-duc qui n'avaient pas choisi le coin le plus tranquille du parc. En effet, ils étaient bien installés chacun dans leur conifère très près du sentier. L'an dernier dans les mêmes dates un individu avait été vu à cet endroit, la nature est surprenante.
The Rua Reidh lighthouse was our focus for visiting the coast north of Gairloch. The previous owners had disputed public access to the road and any visiting 'toggers' or walkers not staying at the lighthouse B+B could (allegedly) face a hostile reception. With the lighthouse now sold on, it is possible to park just a few hundred meters away rather than have to walk 3 miles from Melvaig, though the approach road is a little 'challenging'. It wasn't possible to get a perfect shooting position for the lighthouse, with a climb up a small hill giving the best compromise.

No kidding ;). This photo was taken while I was laying comfortably on the living room couch. The branch you see is part of my garden bird setup. The pond is just next to it and provided a nice vantage point for this young Kingfisher. Once or twice a day we get a visit from several of these fishermen.
On another note, I will be travelling to the US in 2 weeks for business and pleasure. The pleasure part will involve a road trip and some sightseeing in Grand Teton National Park. Feel free to leave any tips you might have regarding this area below :). I will stay in Driggs and Jackson.
