The other week, I had my camera sent off to void the warranty and have it converted to infrared with a 590nm filter by Kolari Vision.

I've had it back for three days now, and this is the first day with no clouds. Please bear with me as I learn to tweak the colors and such. :-)

These photos are color swapped and infrared. I could improve them even more if I had my 50 or 60D convertated. ;-)

VCU (#1) Jennifer Lane scores 10 points during VCU delaware game at the The Bob Carpenter Center In Newark Delaware Thursday Night.

809 W. Broad St.

This is where you pay bills at VCU. It used to be in the yellow building on Main, but they tore that down for the new Business & Engineering school.

New mural on the side of an apartment building next to the VCU Building under construction. I will try this photo again when the sun is behind me... I feel I could get a more interesting angle if I did not have to compensate for the sunlight by blocking it with the parking deck.

VCU's Campus Connector transit service has undergone quite a few changes over the years - first it was privately-run, then it became a city bus route (along with all the other VCU transit routes), and now it is operated by Groome Transportation. Groome operates a fleet of buses of varying types to serve the university's transit needs.

The VCU Jazz Combo was a real treat, performing before the program. Anne O'Byrne sang the National Anthem with the combo.

Infrared is a tricky game. Especially when it's cloudy outside. And rainy.

I recently had one of my cameras converted full time to infrared.

I had a 590nm Filter installed by Kolari Vision.

I did some minimal post-processing, channel swapping and fiddling a little with the hue/saturation.

Seriously... there is no more fun way to immediately void the warranty on your camera. ;-)

Work is mostly being done on the front of the VCU building. I took some 3D photos the other day of iron work.

The first three floors have been poured on the VCU Building. The second floor is wrapped with a tarp, and preparations are being done on the fourth and fifth floors for concrete. (I won't be able to view floors six and seven).
