The other week, I had my camera sent off to void the warranty and have it converted to infrared with a 590nm filter by Kolari Vision.

I've had it back for three days now, and this is the first day with no clouds. Please bear with me as I learn to tweak the colors and such. :-)

These photos are color swapped and infrared. I could improve them even more if I had my 50 or 60D convertated. ;-)

This shot of the VCU Building is from the fifth floor of the West Broad street parking deck. Scaffolding is on the East and West sides of the office/academic building. The crane used in construction of the Square Apartments still runs through the VCU building. It will soon be removed. This photograph also shows all seven stories; it is almost equal in height to the 11-story building next to it.

It's all in the tongue :)

Shortly after the election results started to favor candidate Barack Obama, VCU students and other RVA residents paraded around Monroe Park Campus in celebration. Police had to shut down parts of West Broad Street, West Franklin Street, and North Belvidere Street.

Work is mostly being done on the front of the VCU building. I took some 3D photos the other day of iron work.

After the ribbon cutting students explored the new space.

One of OHNA's main assertions in the controversy is that VCU needs to consider alternative sites before demolishing the historic stable and Green Alley.

Infrared is a tricky game. Especially when it's cloudy outside. And rainy.

I recently had one of my cameras converted full time to infrared.

I had a 590nm Filter installed by Kolari Vision.

I did some minimal post-processing, channel swapping and fiddling a little with the hue/saturation.

Seriously... there is no more fun way to immediately void the warranty on your camera. ;-)

Interim Provost and Vice President for Student Affairs Beverly Warren noted the Learning Commons' importance in relation to other recently-completed VCU projects that improve the student experience and support learning.

Five members of CLUAC, Chief Information Officer Mark Willis, Provost Beverly Warren, and University Librarian John Ulmschneider poised to cut the ribbon to officially open the Learning Commons.

One segment of a mural i did at VCU/MCV's Pediatric Dentistry Clinic in downtown Richmond, VA. In this segment I transformed a boring column into a tree.
