Bankston Elected to Serve State Young Farmers
Henry County’s Emmanuel Bankston, right, was elected to serve as vice chairman of the Alabama Farmers Federation’s State Young Farmers Committee during the Federation’s 103rd annual meeting in Montgomery Dec. 8-9.
Bankston also serves District 7, which includes Barbour, Coffee, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Geneva, Henry, Houston and Pike counties.
The Young Farmers program encourages leadership training, creates awareness of problems facing today’s farmers and promotes better understanding of agribusiness.
