The mono version of a previous image. I think this works really well. The aircraft is a VC 10 tanker since retired and on display at R.A.F. Aerospace museum, Cosford, U.K.
Five ex-British Airways Super VC-10s in storage at RAF Abingdon, awaiting conversion to K.4 tankers for the RAF. They had been at Abingdon since at least 1982.
There were at least seven ex-BA VC-10s at Abingdon in the mid-1980s, so I can't be sure of the identities of these five, but the two on the right hand line are G-ASGH and G-ASGI.
