El programa UtiliTIC es una propuesta del CITA dirigida a estudiantes, con el fin de ayudarles a descubrir la parte útil de las TIC en el entorno educativo.
A través de su participación en este programa, los alumnos de 2º, 4º y 6º de Educación Primaria, y de 2º y 4º de ESO, conocerán las pautas necesarias para hacer un uso responsable de Internet, para realizar búsquedas eficaces de la información y para construir conocimiento utilizando herramientas colaborativas.
Porque es muy importante que utilicen las TIC, pero no lo es menos que lo hagan de forma responsable y eficaz.

I later found that they chopped the tops off the telephone poles along my street. I'm guessing it's because those power lines are now underground or something.
The number was painted as part of an inventory that Seattle Public Utilities is doing of all of their components along bicycle routes in Seattle.
There were 3 trucks in a parking lot, couldn't get any closer and as I walked towards them they were leaving. Managed to get this and one other picture. The bucket attachment makes me wonder...
A sand filled dump truck struck and split a utility pole. Power was out in the library for about 4 hours.
These are handy for people with lots of land who need a small utility vehicle with 4 wheel drive, and not break the bank. Better than trying to jump stumps and gullies with a $20,000 pick up truck for sure.

I took this in my neighborhood of Mira Mesa Art which is painted on the electrical boxes. All of the boxes are painted by local artist that are trying to beautify our neighborhood. This should be interesting. I am going to search for two mine sites known as the Hickory Mines. I know of these mines only from the "Iron Mine Trails" book by Edward J Lenik. They do not appear on any map. Also, this is in a little-known/little-visited, still under development, county park known as Tranquility Ridge in Ringwood NJ. There are no blazed or maintained trails and I just pretty much have verbal directions on how to get there. The starting point is at a makeshift roadside parking area by these power lines that cross Margaret King Rd. The starting point is basically 0.7 miles from the intersection with Greenwood Lake Turnpike.
Utility boxes all over San Diego have unique paintings on them. I found this one outside the Athenaeum art studio very interesting.

It didn't look this bad, until the washer started leaking. I had to save everything (some cardboard boxes had to be emptied, into... the utility room) I'm sad this room looks like this, it was sooooo nice a few weeks ago.
