JCR Utillity Incorporated out of Raymond NH is Verizon's Sub Contractor. In this photo they are drilling to install a new telephone pole at the Bridge Street Intersection.

The utilities don't lie -- Items with (T) require terminal! Tapping on ROM Monitor led to a blank screen -- but it happily spat out to the serial port.
Central Brisbane has a wonderful program of utility box art. It keeps the utility boxes from being constantly tagged and provides really cute public art for people to enjoy.
A B and C are the utility covers GZ may or may not have been near one of these on the ground, but we don't know for sure yet.

The end of the bathroom behind the toilet has a small utility area accessible from outside which will hold the water heater and electrical panel. Above will be bath/linen storage.
End cap with tab made. I used the scrap that I cut out from behind the new light bracket on the fender.
Second World War emergency spool by Coats (much smaller than their regular spools, but holding the same amount of thread) and suitably scratchy utility blanket which belonged to my mother-in-law. I've blogged about them here: scrapiana.com/2010/11/04/temporary-spool/

A fence staple just sort of hanging there on a nearby utility pole. I'll have to remember in the future that if I happen to get mugged here, all I have to do is reach over and I've got a weapon at the ready to defend myself.
