Strobist - Lit by a lamp to camera right with a mirror on the other side for fill light... Smoke was lit with a vivitar 285hv at 1/16 power

First of all, thanks to Kalilies for being such a great person and making the standalone eye tutorial. Rahna's eyes are the result of that haha.

I am quite satisfied with Rahna's look now. I'm probably still going to tinker some more with it, though. Now that I think of it, I probably will give a little makeover to all my characters.

An update on Edgar & Ron: Perhaps our Flickr friends have noticed that we've not been very active on Flickr for the past few months. Edgar's problems with his memory have worsened and for two years, I have been his caregiver at home. However, on March 9, 2024 I had a heart attack, followed by triple bypass open heart surgery. It was clear that I could no longer be Edgar's caregiver at home and he was moved to a long-term-care center not far from where we have lived for nearly 30 years. Neither of us is very happy about these life-changing events, but we try to make the best of the situation we are in. I visit Edgar three times a week and he has settled into his new home quite well. I had coronary rehab through the hospital and I now continue my cardiac exercises three times per week at our local recreation center. I am doing pretty well at this point and, to some degree, so is Edgar. Thank you for your Flickr friendship over the years.

Just a update on why no pictures etc.. I do not like to post old pictures so I have been waiting to get out in warmer weather, soon I hope. Had my first shot of the vaccine and the nest will be in July. I sure hope we get things under control soon. I am hoping to get to South Africa May, 2022, maybe California and Ontario before that.

Hey guys! So sorry I haven't posted in nearly a week. I've been busy doing school crap and being lazy. I've gotten done version 4 (yes, version 4) of Yellow Jacket, now with posable extended limbs. I've finished my Poe Dameron minifigure, and I even painted a jacket for him! I will post it soon, when do you guys want to see it? I also made a Fallout Wanderer avatar. Cred to Brick Warriors for the rifle. This was one I made when I was at my friends house, and he had Fallout 4. It is extremely fun! As you can tell, I bought the TFA X-Wing set, which is a bit pricey, but definitely worth the money. The figures are amazing, and the build is ingenious! I took the Poe figure, and I painted the arms and like, half of the legs. I also painted on the back of the helmet. Also, happy Thanksgiving you guys! I hope you had a lovely day, and I am so very thankful for those of you who continue to support me, it means a lot to me, and I appreciate each and every one of you.

As you can see, these teenagers are doing very well, more than can be said for me! lol They are spending more and more time away from Mum & Dad. They are learning to fly and can just get their feet above water, they seem very excited to achieve this. Albert has fully recovered from his fight and flew away for a few hours yesterday.

I didn't tell you this at the time, but when Cygnets 3 and 4 were just 6 and 8 hours old, they were called into the canal by their Mum along with 1 and 2 who hatched the day before, then Mum and 1 and 2 came back to the nest, 3 and 4 couldn't get back up the bank to dry land. After about 7 minutes there heads dropped onto their chests with exhaustion. I had seen enough by then and stood one and a half metres in front of their parents and lay on the grass and lifted the exhausted Cygnets and placed them in front of Mum, to around of applause from about twenty spectators on the tow path. I was so pleased that Victoria and Albert trusted me!

Hey guys just a quick update or plan for the year,also just want to let everyone know that I have got my laptop back so I will be able to upload regularly and reply to any P.M's.

So what my primary focus will be from now until August is the Suicide Squad, I am extremely excited for this movie aside from The Jokers awful new look,so I decided this will be my main focus,I will only be making 6 figures from the movie,including Harley Quinn, The Joker, Cpt.Boomerang, Killer Croc, Deadshot and the skullface guy xD I think his name is El Diablo. Aside from suicide squad,I have been working on a few TWD Figures and a Spartan Locke Armor set which has been in the works for 4 months now, The picture above is my new GTA 5 Michael holding Harley Quinns unfinished Baseball bat. So far I think the power armour is coming out alright, I just have to finish the back and start the arms and legs. For The Lord I have bade colours painted and I am just practicing painting the camo before I paint it on the actual thing. Mocs wise my apocalypse moc is pretty much done, just need to add a few more dead trees. Any questions please ask.

First of all, my apologies for the semi-shit photo quality. I've been using my google pixel to take photos for over a month now since I don't have my actual camera with me due to corona :/

Anyways, here's an updated version of my scorpion. I haven't seen any models accurately capture the Reach slope on the hull and really wanted to make mine more accurate. Low key, I kind of like my previous design but this new hull has been growing on me. Let me know what you think!

When you go all over the world for work, your dream vacation is your bedroom. .

This is a picture taken at the hospital...I will upload a newer picture of her as soon as I can.

Jaymi has been home now for 4 days, and is improving so much every day. 5 or 6 days ago, she couldn't walk, could barely hold her head up, stand, or sit up by herself.

Today, she is walking on her own pretty well (she still needs to grab on to things for support along the way, and when she gets tired at the end of the day, she trips and wavers a lot more), her voice is totally back, and her left side is getting stronger and stronger.

She is extremely frustrated with a lot of things, and I think that is the hardest part of recovery right now.

She is tired of hearing everyone talk about this whole story, and doesn't understand why everyone keeps saying how strong she is.

I am so happy that she has done so well, and am totally enjoying having her around.

Sorry for the lack of updates through August. Between birthdays and getting sick, working on orders, problems with packaging arriving, and humidity interfering with faceups, it was a very hectic month.
