First of all, thanks er body for the 100 follower mark, it means a lot to me and I plan to give back with a post at least every week👌. Second, this is my BF4 US Assault class figure. It's been done for a minute just didn't have the time to take a pic.👍
most important updates are the 2 searchlights and changes in the landscape
I hope you like it
and comments and favs are much appreciated! ;)
Well I guess I should post an update because I have been not really active recently. I am in my Senior year of High School and would like to finish the year strong and I just completed my last season of Varsity swimming and will go back to working part time so I probably will not have as much time for Lego unlike when I was younger. I have built a few little things just nothing I am proud of, I also got an Instagram account so I might post more wips and informal pic there. I also might branch out from WW2 and did modern and Star Wars.
Thanks
-Rob
Hello peeps!
These aren't the pictures I usually post on Flickr, I know. I'm here to only bring a small update that I am still walking on the surface of this earth and suffering alongside in this unbearable summer heat. After a year of being inactive on Flickr due to RL projects, I can safely say I'm working on a few things for SL that soon will see the light of day so stay tuned! For now, few minute 3AM touch ups it is or my friends won't leave me be if I don't post these.
Not sure if it's worth posting befores but eh; May as well.
My 1983 Ford Sierra 1.6 L
The 'biege thing' we call it. The project Sierra has sat for a month if not more being unused. Most set backs have been due to a limited parts supply. Despite sitting, the Sierra bursts into life with every key turn, it's much more eager than my low mileage example. Running lumpy when cold, once warmed up the engine is fantastic - it's definitely a car that wants to live.
There's a question mark over what to do with the beige Sierra. Now that the red Sierra wants for a couple hundred pounds thrown at it, I feel it should receive my immediate attention instead in order to preserve its condition. Whist financially doable, if push comes to shove I may sell this car - of course, most reluctantly. This car is in no way replaceable..
In an ideal world I think I'd like to push this into a garage and return to it in a year when I'm not juggling Uni, my new job, what to do with the Getz and putting money into the red Sierra instead.

This week I went to check on the "parking lot cats"...I drove past the Rottweiller tethered to a zip line and stopped to take another pix of him.
Well, I got "caught" red handed by the owner who came running outside to see what I was doing.
I immediately told him how gorgeous his dog was and that I was a photographer just taking a quick snapshot.
We ended up having a long discussion. He said that this Rottie is five months old....and named Gus [ short for Gustapo]. He said Gus was tethered because he had a habit of crossing the road and hanging out with the cows. He reassured me that Gus goes for a long walk every morning and likes to be outside instead of in the house w/him. I said.....that it would be better if he was "fenced in". ....and that Gus should have the option of being outside or in the house w/ him instead of being tied up.
I tried to be "nice" and he asked my opinion about having Gus tethered as it seems other passer bys have taken notice. So I gave him my thoughts about it. Hopefully, he'll put up a fence for Gus.

I updated my online portfolio with Thom's help. The main thing I did was create a new navigation on the home page utilizing track and railroad cars that I created in Illustrator. Thom used java script to clean up the code and make updating much easier. You can check out the site at www.fireboxgraphic.com. I'd love to get some feedback, even if it's constructive criticism.
Izzy, just 16 and 6ft 2inches tall, has just been offered a place in the British Rowing Academy. If she accepts, she will have to do her A-levels at Hartpury college. It's a big decision for her, but I am sure she will choose well - she has monster plans for the rest of her life, and this will make a difference....

The plan was to go for a walk, maybe over to the old tree and back, but looking out the window just now I decided to stay indoors.
Hey guys, I'm alive!
I'd had a big project in the works for a later date, and here's the first preview. It'll be debuting later this year.
Some details are temporary, still testing out a few ideas. I'm hoping to start a few smaller projects to fill the gap between posts.
I have been working an absolute ton lately so I'm sorry if the quality of pictures isn't great. I have multiple things planned for the future including doing something I'm calling "4 hour builds" where I make a small MOC in 4 hours or less and show you.
I like photographing the moon and editing it to see if I can squeeze out more details with the equipment I have. Here is my latest update. In a few weeks I am sure I will have another idea.
1/1000, F9, ISO 400 and hand-held. Nikon D500 with Sigma 150-600mm @600mm.
Got some new brickforge stuff!
Aquaman has new vambraces and a little design tweak, Roy has vambraces and a new bow, Ollie has a new bow, Merlyn needs a quiver but new bow and braces, and this is my WIP Artemis, she's not done but she's getting there.
Eggbert (poplar hawk moth caterpillar) is now 6 days old, and has changed quite a bit. He seems to be eating well, and is starting to look quite grown up. He's now about 1.5cm, is a bit chunkier, and has developed his lovely stripes.
For a comparison, see him the day he hatched: www.flickr.com/photos/pogspix/19489164313/.
I must thank Dave Maunder for the kind advice on how to rear him on, after I found the egg (first: www.flickr.com/photos/pogspix/19703169310; and then: www.flickr.com/photos/pogspix/19904747109) on a leaf of a shoot I'd removed from a willow tree stump in my garden.
Hope everyone is doing well and hope that things are sailing along smoothly. Just wanted to give everyone an update as to what is happening. The surgery on the left is scheduled for tomorrow morning and I am hoping and praying that everything goes as smoothly as it did on the right eye. This should take care of all of the imbalance problems between the two eyes and I should be on my way to a different way of life in around 8 days. I’ll return as soon as I see what the I am left with. Wishing everyone a truly marvelous day. Peace.

The regulars may remember a post from a few weeks ago, linked below, showing this winter's cliff erosion due to the constant storms. It included the prediction that a particular section of the coastal path would 'go' i.e. collapse. That has now happened with the South West Coast Path being closed at that location in the last day or two.
The photo above was taken earlier this week at a location some 30 miles / 50 kms west of my original post. Certain sections of the SWCP have also been closed in this area in recent years and diversions put in place. It is now official that Britain had the wettest February since records began, so more cliff falls are certain, even when the weather becomes drier and warmer.

Took this a good while ago. Gordon, Huntress and Michael Lane have actually all gotten significant updates since this was taken but ah well. I don't want to set em all up again.
Anyways, just wanted to get this out of my files and into my photo-stream. Cheers, folks!
Even though I've now given him a total of two dollars, it's a year later and he's still 98 cents short! What gives?

PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVE, BUT I KNOW YOU WONT!
Lol.
So these are my current wips (there's more, but these are done/close to finished).
I'm going to be posting these soon.
Anyway, I'm running low on parts and need to get more, so upcoming figs should be slow.
I also cleaned up my workspace a lot. It's about 70% done, I just gotta sort some pieces and things. I'm only showing you the good half.
Thanks to Scott Blankfield for showing off his incredibly OCD workspace, which somehow made me clean mine.
Go ahead and guess the figs if you like!
The two torsos in front are what my question is:
What should I make with those two torsos?
I don't care what they are, but I need suggestions! BossVerse ideas would be great, cause I like doing those.
Thanks if you help, and for reading if you did!
