The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway's Fence2Fence team were busy over the last weekend of November. On the Saturday they were working near Milepost 8 1/2 and later around the old water tower cutting back saplings, brambles, etc. If left unchecked the railway rapidly becomes a 'green tunnel'.

The River Banwy was quite deep and flowing fast so a barrier tape demarcation line was put in place to remind people to stay at least two metres away form the water's edge.
