Loaded and unloaded..

but by the end of the day heavy things are unloaded.

River sand was taken and loaded into the boats till they looked like sinking and sailed downstream to Bangkok to be unloaded at the sand stock factory. After sand wasv unloaded the boats become flaoting again.

I never notice this thing. Just think they are different kinds of boat till one day one strangers, happened to talk near the peir, he told me to see the difference of two boat sailed opposite ways with different shapes before and after loading.

It's normal and very simple but he just like guru to open my eyes wider to see thing clearer not only look over.

On my way home from work on a Sunday morning, following a lesson on how to apply makeup to myself should I be called upon to go on TV again -- makeup is a must for HD TV -- I swung by the John Amos power plant on the Kanawha River and saw this guy unloading a barge of gravel. Gravel contains limestone for the power plant's srubbers.

Finally the operation to lower the tamping machine on to the track is nearly over. All of the wheels are now on the track of the siding and it just needs the lowering cable to be disconnected, the movable pieces of track to be reloaded and what is now the rear end of the trailer be raised and connected to the tractor unit once again. 'Job done' as they say.

CEA were employed by CATERPILLAR Thailand to unload and transfer welding machines & other equipment at their UGM plant in Chonburi.

Assistant Yard Manager Virasak Sriboon began the project by holding a toolbox talk and joint hazard analysis (JHA) meeting with his teams.

Trucks and their cargo formed a queue and one by one pulled alongside a CEA 55 ton crane to begin unloading. The CEA team removed all lashing straps and attached the crane slings to the cargoes. The crane lifted the cargoes on to an awaiting 25 & 15 T forklifts. The forklifts transported the cargo to the Caterpillar storage area, a CEA banksman supervised all movements.

Day 2

CEA teams unloaded cargo crates from 40ft Containers at their respective cargo docks, a 3 ton forklift was used to place the crates on wooden pallets for easier storage, once again the cargo was transported to the storage area.

All scrap material left over from the project was cleared for disposal. Flat rack containers used in the operation were stacked on to one lowboy trailer. General housekeeping was carried out in the working areas.

All CEA equipment was demobilized and readied for transport back to the operations base in Laem Chabang.
