Unity is strength. Just that humans fail to practice this.

Someone asked me once why I care so much about other people; in spite being a total stranger to them. Well, I used to have this idea, a “pipe dream” if you will, that every single human being will truly understand one another and hate will be a thing of the past. You know, like one of Bob Marley’s famous song “ONE LOVE”. Yea, I know. You’re probably thinking that I live in such a fantasy world and need to grow up. Perhaps you’re right. Although it may seem such a BIG fantasy right now, I still wonder when will that magical day come where peace and helping one another is a common site to see. I think about it from time to time you know. Especially every time I hear police sirens and see ‘bad’ things from the outside.
But anyway, I replied to his question and said: I know that this current world that we live in is fucked up (there is no question about that). Heck, it even amazes me that somehow, I haven’t dropped all my ideals yet, especially that they seem so absurd and impossible to carry out. But (here comes my big but), my reason is that in spite of everything, I still believe that people are genuinely good at heart.
I have FAITH.

I created it for the stamping challenge at Basic Grey this week. This design from Out of Print reminded me of a modern bandanna design.
Unity Brave Girl Boots were stamped, masked, and stamped a second time.
I added a wrap of my husband's baling twine to finish the modern rustic design. The sketch is Nina B's from The Lily Pad.
